The Paris Musketeers went on a winning streak late in their first season. Are they able to start off their 2024 season like they ended in 2023?

France is ready for some great football. And the Paris Musketeers are planning to do everything that they can do deliver. Can the French team stay as hot as they finished the 2023 season?

The Musketeers, under the strategic guidance of managing owner and head of strategy Jason Johnson, are prepping for a transformational second season in the European League of Football. Johnson’s philosophy revolves around cultivating a program that extends beyond just assembling a roster, aiming for a sustainable organizational culture. "This incorporates all parts of the organization, from the style of coaching, the competitive mindset of our players, the off-field opportunities, the city itself," he explains.

Johnson’s approach is to create an environment that attracts and retains talent, fostering a sense of commitment and growth. "We want to play an explosive style on offense and attack on defense, so adding speed & playmakers is a priority," says Johnson. This strategy hinges on maintaining the core of their team and strategically enhancing the roster with impactful players.

For Johnson and the Musketeers, the offseason is a crucial time for growth and preparation. "Year two is all about 'taking it to the next level' - so for us, it’s being conscious to improve our roster at each position," Johnson asserts. The team’s dedication to improvement also extends to its off-season program, focusing on developing players to be "bigger, stronger, and faster."

The goals for the Paris Musketeers are clear and ambitious, aiming to disrupt the sport globally. Johnson is confident in their approach: "What we are trying to build is a model that can be a standard of excellence," he states. With a steadfast commitment to their mission, the Musketeers look forward to the new season with anticipation, ready to elevate their game and the experience of American football in Europe.
